LucieEveryone was asking where I got this headgear. It was truly the icing on the cake. My outfit would not have been fulfilled without it. Thank you for your quick response, and for shipping my order SAME DAY! I felt like the queen that I am
CherylI asked a question about fit (we both have big heads) in my order notes. The seller responded quickly that longer ribbons would be used. The masks arrived in time for the masquerade ball and fit great!
FeliciaThis item is gorgeous! I put the mask on and it fit very well with my glasses. It is light and just as the description says. I absolutely love it. I finally found a mask that I can wear with my glasses. Thank you so so so much!
Jennifer MaddenMy husband and I wore these for our school’s gala fundraiser with a masquerade theme. They were not only beautiful but lightweight and very comfortable to wear.
JennyThis mask is fabulous! It’s better than the picture can show. Great quality. Lightning fast shipping. Fits like a glove. My 14-year-old loves it! I would absolutely do business here, again! Thank you!!
JessicaI loved this quick addition to complete my costume. Gorgeous and well made. I thought it was even more beautiful in person than in the picture.I wish I could wear it again! Maybe to the grocery store today? ;)
JessicaLOVVVVED my mask! Beautifully made and just the unique touch I wanted to add to my peacock costume. My only suggestion would be more padding in the front where the metal meets the skin. Otherwise, was a perfect accessory!
Jessica MaddoxGreat mask! For my husband for New Years but my son likes it too hahah!
Jill GanierThis is a great hat and the seller was extremely awesome to deal with!
JillianMy boyfriend and I had a masquerade gala and these were absolutely perfect! They were well made and comfortable. I was a little worried about them staying up since they tied in the back, but they stayed up great! We got so many compliments!
JuiceboxArrived a lot earlier than expected, I asked for the designs to be around the eyes and they delivered :) I love it, you can see out of them just fine but you can't see from outside in
JulieannaIt’s perfect! Well crafted, and the filigree is a really nice touch. It arrived quickly as well.

What is the History of The Plague Doctor Outfit?
The plague doctor attire was designed by Charles de Lorme, King of France's personal physician, as a protective suit in 1619, drawing inspiration from a soldier's full body armor but making it appropriate for medicinal purposes. The attire was put to use in Paris for the first time and, soon became widespread throughout Europe.
This popular plague doctor costume ensemble is based on an original engraving by Paul Fürst done in 1656 of the Der Doctor Schnabel von Rom or Doctor Beak of Rome. It shows this most unusual long robe attire worn by Plague Doctors who served as public servants at the time in any city willing to employ their services of assisting victims of the plague. They used plague masks with a beak is filled with aromatic substances used to fight miasmas or unpleasant smells floating in the air, which that the time was considered to be the cause of the disease. The staff in his hand was used to examine and prod patients from a certain distance and not touch with hands.
